• On March 5, 1991, RTC began its operation. RTC Baguio City is an institution accredited by TESDA that offers Technical and Vocational Education and Training Programs (TVET) under the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) and the Commission on Higher Education (CHED).

• Year 2002-  identification of RTC as a beneficiary of the Expanded Dual Education and Training Project (EDETP) and Center of Excellence in Modern Manufacturing Technology (CEMMT)

• 4th Quarter of 2002- Launching of the  co-management program with the Society of Automotive Technician and Engineers of the Philippines (SATEP).

• Year 2003- establishment of co management partners:1) Machining Technology with Metal working Industry Association of the Philippines (MIAP); 2) Welding technology with the Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers (PICE); and 3) Electrical & Electro-Mechanical Technology with Institute of Integrated Electrical Engineers(IIEE)

• Year 2004- completion of the infrastructure component of the EDETP.

• April 2005- Inauguration of the infrastructure component of the EDETP and CEMMT.

• September 14, 2005-Accreditation as FESTO Authorized and Certified Training Center for Industrial Automation and Mechatronics by FESTO Didactic Philippines.

• January 2011 to January-  2013 APACC Bronze Accreditation

• July 2, 2014 –recognition of RTC-Baguio as one the Center’s of Excellence.
